Tsunami in political way???
"Political Tsunami" stated in the front page of The Star Newspaper today. This means the favourite Dato Seri Samy Vellu lost votes on his birthday. News report saying that "his going back home to take a bath and come back to the voting place" But he didn't turn up after he went back. And also he had booked a place for his birthday party planning to celebrate since his going to win but unfortunately the plan was canceled. That hurts.
Secondly, favourite Koh Tsu Koon lost votes to P. Ramasamy was totally unexpected. “It is beyond our expectations. We accept the people’s verdict,” says Koh. I guess people in Penang aren't that satisfy with the decision building the "Badawi's Penang Bridge" and they need to demolish few residents' places in order to build that bridge. News reports say that Lim Guan Eng will continue Tun Mahathir's legacy, I wonder what that means.
Thirdly, Datuk Seri Shahrizat lost to Izzah Anwar. It was a total shock defeat. " The Gerakan, MCA and MIC were all wiped out".
BN losing Penang, Kedah, Perak, Selangor and Kelantan was a major upset for them. However, this means PAS taking over Kelantan and Kedah. DAP taking Penang. PKR taking Selangor. OMGosh!! Selangor!! Finally our state here is more "Adil" now hahaha.. In Perak, still no decision had been made yet on whose taking over, DAP most likely to be the one. However, Kit Siang claims that he only wants Penang and not other states. This means PAS will be the most likely candidate to take over Perak =(
Hope after a major disappointment for BN, they will realize not to be over confident. Setting up the stage, booking the hall, inviting everyone for celebration for 2/3 majority wins for BN is not a very good idea indeed. In the end what happen? All plans canceled. BN 2/3 majority denied!! Yay!!!
Lastly, should PM Badawi resigns?? Even Tun Mahathir agrees that he should resign.
"I think he should accept responsibility for this. He should accept 100 percent responsibility,"
"I am sorry but I apparently made the wrong choice."
"I think the people must have been very angry, all the races, Chinese, Malays and Indians,"
"The problem is we (the government) have become so arrogant. We suppress any opinion that we do not like and they begin to believe in their own reports which are not actually consistent with what is happening in the country."
- Tun Mahathir, 9th March 2008
Everyone what you guys think about the re-vote thingy?? An example, Ong Ka Ting actually only lost a few votes but then won 5000+ votes for second count. Isn't that fishy?? I'll leave you guys to comment on this.
I guess every Malaysians are seeking for changes, let us give a chance to the opposition to prove their worth and hard work to make these changes.
Peace ^_^

Bad Saturday?
It started with a great Saturday when I saw the news Beng Hee and Nicol David won the squash KL open title!! Beng Hee beat compatriot Mohd Azlan Iskandar 11-8, 11-10 (5-3), 11-10 (2-0) and Nicol played a fast game to win 9-4, 9-2, 9-2 in just 35 minutes against Natalie Grinham =) Proud for Malaysians!!
However, it didn't continue as I watched Wan Wah-Tan Fook went down 13-21, 24-22, 21-23 to South Koreans Jung Jae-sung-Lee Yong-dae darn.. They just can't keep up to the consistency and made a lot of mistakes during the rubber game. Anyhow congrats to them in getting in the semi final.
My mood yesterday got worst when I saw Lee Chong Wei lost 18-21, 18-21 to Chen Jin. I was soooo disappointed because he didn't perform like he did when he won Taufik with crafty performance. I can say lack of smashing from Chong Wei sigh... All Malaysians are out from All England Badminton Championship =(
When Chong Wei lost, Man Utd lost too, both matches ended at the same time with one live from TV beside me and live from computer in front of me =P I had to say Thomas Kusczak was too stupid rushing out from the goal post and kicked Milan Baros =.= Thats seriously an unnecessary challenge.
Meanwhile, I had to praise Portsmouth defenders Glen Johnson and Sol Campbell. Their defense were just superb to break Man Utd chance to win treble this year. Great Defend!! It was funny to see Man utd defender Ferdinand to be goal keeper for last 20 minutes =P Great effort from him almost save a penalty from Muntari.. Disappointed on everything!
But.. It was a slightly better day when I saw BN lost 5 states to opposition and Malaysian finally deny BN from 2/3 majority!! Serve them right!! BN won Parliament by 137 seats over opposition 82 seats. BN also won 305 seats and losing 196 seats to the opposition in States. Hope more to come in 5 years time!! Prevent corruption!! Prevent benefits going to one side!! Vote for opposition!!
